The Morrison & Co Property Group provides specialist expertise to maximise returns from infrastructure-related property assets.

Transport, airport and energy assets all present adjacent property opportunities. The Morrison & Co Property Group's key aims are to maximise return from Infratil's property portfolio and develop further infrastructure-related property investment opportunities. The group also plays a key role in the Morrison & Co's Public Infrastructure Partnership team, providing hands-on development management and asset management expertise.

Since 2008, the Group has managed Infratil Infrastructure Property (IIP), a collection of properties mainly from Infratil's NZ Bus subsidiary worth an estimated NZ$50 million.

The Morrison & Co Property Group's active management of the IIP portfolio has already delivered significant value to Infratil. Recent property initiatives include the sale and lease back of operational NZ Bus depots, generating a 22% gain on book value. A number of redevelopment opportunities are underway and are expected to deliver strong capital gains for IIP over the next two to five years.
